Eigg Cottage is ideally situated to explore and enjoy the
Road to the Isles area.
Within easy reach of Arisaig, Morar and Mallaig and a short ferry ride from Skye, Eigg, Rhum, Muck and Canna there is plenty to see and do all year round.
Best of all is the stunning Camusdarach beach just over the road. Most notably used in the film Local Hero
There are many local walks of varying difficulty . Our favourite is to Loch an Nastarie.
Mallaig has a swimming pool, banks, pubs and restaurants and a Spar and a Coop store. The Post Office is in Arisaig together with another Spar, hotel and two restaurants.
Great takeaway Thai food is available locally
Traigh Golf Course is a picturesque 9 hole course 5 minutes drive away.
